Kufic calligraphy is a major art form, since its role is to make visible the verses of the Koran, it could even be considered the most noble discipline in all the arts of Islam.

The much criticized ‘immobility’ of Islamic art is simply the absence in it of all subjective motives.

​

It is an art that is unconcerned with psychological problems and which retains only those elements that are valid for all time.
